Adjustable Cam Timing Gear - Volvo B230 1993 >

This adjustable camshaft gear made by STS Machining right here in Oregon allows you to move your powerband up or down for your specific setup! Advancing the timing of the gear moves the powerband down whereas retarding the timing moves it higher. Can be used with a stock camshaft or one of our upgraded VX/ Turbo cams.

Adjustment can be done by loosening the five stainless steel set screws around the edge of the gear and then moving the center section of the gear from -10 to +10 degrees of cam timing. This can be adjusted in one degree increments to fine tune any setup.

Machined out of billet aluminum, the outer section of this gear is also hard anodized to prevent wear of the gear from the belt riding against it. As pretty as this gear is we do recommend running the timing cover still as debris in between the cam gear and belt can cause premature wear.
