Upon purchasing our first P3 chassis project car, one of the first things we noticed was that the upper engine torque rod had much room for improvement and had a considerable amount of slop. These torque rods have a large rubber bushing in them on the forward end, with loads of deflection. This leads to a short lived mount as the engine twists and loads up the bushing considerably - especially during spirited driving. 

We at IPD thought this problem needed to be remedied. Instead of piggybacking on the stock design which was already a known problem point, we started from scratch and designed a mount from the ground up. Our mount went through multiple design changes and updates with nearly six months of development behind it. This is the final piece. The mount is a full CNC unit made from billet aluminum. We pair this with 70A polyurethane bushings to limit the engine movement - but not rattle your teeth out. The mount also is clear anodized for corrosion protection. As always the IPD logo is cut in the top to let everyone know you've invested in the best possible product. 

Despite the mount being visually different from the stock mount, this is still a bolt in product for any P3 chassis 4, 5 or 6 cylinder model. Installs in about twenty minutes with hand tools making this a quick, easy performance and visual upgrade.
