IPD 3" Downpipe Volvo S60 / V70N / XC70 / AWD / R

IPD highflow downpipe, this upgrade will significantly reduce back pressure, allowing the engine to breathe easier and thus provide much improved throttle response, torque production and good old HP (typically in the range of 15-20 HP and 20-25 lbs/ft of torque).

Exhaust tone is slightly different (throatier), but not really louder. Search popular forums and you will find comments such as:

This IPD downpipes utilize a ceramic 3-way catalytic converter. Also, an integrated flex-joint helps to eliminate stress cracking and vibration. 3” mandrel bent stainless steel is used from inlet to outlet for highest flow capacity and long life. Oxygen sensor ports are retained as well as factory mounting points and connections. Our pipes also include attachment points for the heat shield, an ipd exclusive. Also included are new gaskets & high-temp joint compound. This downpipe is compatible with the stock exhaust as well as most aftermarket systems. Will pass emissions tests.
